De beste tijd om India te bezoeken is tussen oktober en april, de relatief koelere periode van het jaar.

In deze periode heeft Noord-India van oktober tot november een heldere hemel, terwijl december en januari koeler zijn met wat mist. De hogere Himalaya kan erg koud zijn, maar biedt wel een helder uitzicht op de bergen. In april en mei stijgen de temperaturen, wat leidt tot een hogere luchtvochtigheid en onweersbuien. Het is echter wel een goede tijd voor budgetvriendelijke reizen…
