Henning quería explorar el Triángulo Dorado: Delhi, Agra y Jaipur. También quería conocer más de Rajasthan entre Pushkar, Jodhpur y Udaipur.

Estaba interesada en los principales lugares de interés y monumentos como el Fuerte Rojo en Delhi, el Taj Mahal en Agra, el Fuerte Amber en Jaipur, el Fuerte Mehrangarh en Jodhpur o el Palacio de la Ciudad en Udaipur. Sin embargo, Henning enfatizó desde el principio de la planificación que tenía más interés sobre los locales y sus historias.

Entonces, planeamos una ruta de viaje típica de dos semanas desde Delhi a Udaipur a través de Agra y Rajasthan. También lo hicimos quedarse completamente en casas de familia. Planeamos también una noche fuera de Jodhpur en un pequeño pueblo llamado Chandelao. Fue una idea para darle una idea de la vida rural y un breve descanso de las ciudades ocupadas.
