We have literally been talking about traveling to India for over 30 years. We are so grateful that a friend referred India Someday. They made it happen for us, and everything was so smooth. Communication with the India Someday office was great. We knew what to expect. They answered questions quickly both before the trip and during. The drivers and guides were always on time. Everything went as described. We spent 15 days- Delhi, Varanasi (this was a bucket list item), Agra (also a bucket list item), Ranthambore, Jaipur, and Udaipur. We flew to some places and were driven to others. We had a driver every day and guides most days, but some days were were on our own. The guides had recommendations, but we could also coordinate with the guides to see and do different things. The guides were great. They were super informative. We learned so much. The drivers were also great. We had one driver (Karan) for about 9 days. He was fantastic. In fact, he was more than a driver. He explained some of the things were seeing during our drives drives. He also picked up things that we were interested in (such as crops and animals) and pointed out/explained them. We also thought that the way India Someday scheduled the itinerary was excellent. It was great to go to Varanasi first. We learned a lot that we were able to connect to things we saw later on. Then, the stay in Ranthambore was perfectly timed. To be honest, we weren't sure about this because our interests tend more towards culture, art, history, architecture, but the 2 days in Ranthambore was amazing. It was planned for about the mid-point of the trip, and ended up being a really nice break to be away from the cities and enjoying nature. Plus, we saw 7 tigers! It ended up being a huge highlight. We have never done a tour like this before. We have always just done our own thing. We knew that we would need more support for this trip. It was perfect in that the trip was customized to our needs and interests but we didn't have to worry about the details such as how we were going to get around, or booking airline tickets, etc... As a solo female traveller I wanted a bit of security for at least my first week in India. I had a total of 4 weeks with a resort booked for the middle 2 weeks. First week was to cover Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Mumbai, 4th week in Varkala. I was travelling on a budget and the hotel / homestay recommendations provided by Sameer were exceptional value. Location, facilities and staff were great and perfectly matched to my needs as a solo female traveller on a budget. They provided flight / train bookings and transfers from airport/station to hotel which made it easy when arriving at each new place. India someday provided a person on the ground I could contact. I did reach out to her a number of times to check plans, meeting points etc and each time she was there to support and answer questions or sort a problem. One of the homestays cancelled for my final week. Sameer was quick to offer alternatives and help me when I decided to completely change where I wanted to go, offering advice and updating bookings as needed. I booked a history and food tour in Mumbai. My guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable about her city with exceptional food from various places along the way. Their long track record, combined with the daily contact as we put together our 3-week plan, quickly built our confidence. What we appreciate most is their flexibility in building the holiday: We shared our preferences (budget, interests, pace, transport options), and they crafted a fully custom itinerary that matched us perfectly—no rigid packages. One piece of advice from our experience: travelling by train, car, and air in India can be exhausting, so build in some relaxing stops! Their communication overall is brilliant: responsive team, detailed explanations, and availability throughout the process. They excel at handling dynamic changes too: If plans shift mid-trip (as ours did—we overestimated our ability to keep up the pace), they adjusted our routes, hotels, flights, without any hassle. India Someday organised our month long tour through India. We had some ideas as to what we wanted to do; Adina and her colleagues fleshed those out into a fantastic package. We often self organise our trips, but longer trips with complex internal transfers can be too much for us, and UK operators are so expensive. The reviews that I saw gave me confidence that India Someday would do a great job for us at a good price, and they did so. Some of the add-ons really made the tour. I recall the driver who took us up to the platform for our first train journey and showed us where to wait for our carriage; the street tour in Jaipur who had us eating street food; the bicycle tour of Udaipur and the local village visit in Jawai that showed us something of local Indian village life.
